Overcome Your Fear of the Dentist with Sedation Dentistry

New Year’s Resolution: Conquer Your Fear of the Dentist with Sedation Dentistry

There’s no need to skip your next dentist appointment even if you’re afraid of the dentist. At Goodman Dental Center we offer sedation dentistry which helps ease your anxiety and even erases your memory of the visit.

At Goodman Dental Center we offer 3 options of sedation dentistry:

  1. Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)– A sedative agent mixed with oxygen that when inhaled through a mask over the nose helps patients relaxed and comfortable.
  2. Oral Sedation– Is the most common technique today. It is a prescription medication that makes patients feel drowsy and relaxed. Due to the effects, patients must be driven home by friend or family member.
  3. IV Sedation– Is received through a vein and can be adjusted by the dentist depending on what level is needed.

So start the year off right by working on your fear of the dentist and come to Goodman Dental Center to try out the sedation dentistry. Who knows, you may end up really like going to the dentist afterward.
