When it’s time to begin your treatment, we take digital scans of your mouth. We use these scans to map out your teeth-straightening strategy and create your custom-made aligners. You get a series of aligners, and each clear set is slightly different. This is how they gently shift your teeth into their new position.

You can expect to wear each one for two weeks or so, then remove it and replace it with another. Each day, you should wear your aligners for at least 22 hours. By the time you finish with your last set, your teeth will be perfectly aligned. 

During this time, you make visits to our office every four to six weeks so we can monitor your progress. Total treatment times vary, but most people finish in about 12 months.
